Read Naturally specializes in fluency development, helping students become better readers and make solid gains in comprehension and vocabulary through their transformative products for fluency, phonics, vocabulary, spelling and assessment.

For their new website, they wanted to modernize their web presence, improve the infrastructure and organization of site content - including many different types of products, a knowledgebase, training materials, support information and news articles - and create a highly intuitive shopping experience for the end user. In short, they needed users to understand their wide array of offerings, be able to quickly hone in on the best product for them and then buy quickly and easily.

These goals were achieved with a new custom website and CMS that includes the following improvements:

  • Responsive web design to deliver all site content optimally on mobile devices
  • Products now fall into one of three intuitive product categories: Intervention Programs, Assessment Tools and Training (the main things users come to the site looking for) and users can search products by "Challenges We Address", e.g. Fluency, Vocabulary and Spelling (each of these is noted by a memorable icon).
  • The copious content related to each product is now organized into easy-to-digest tabs, e.g. Benefits, How It Works and What's Included.
  • Users can see customer reviews denoted with stars as well as leave their own reviews.
  • For software products, users can sign up for a free trial before purchase with the ability for client to manage the trial period on the admin end.
  • Users can locate, vett and check out the product they're looking for within minutes using the seamless, fully customized shopping cart that includes a custom shipping calculation unique to the client and ability to pay via CC or purchase order.
  • A searchable knowledgebase with tabs for Featured Topics, Troubleshooting and FAQ makes serves two purposes: it's an educational tool for users researching Read Naturally products and also a support tool once they've purchased the product.
  • An interactive blog, branded the "RN Bookmark," allows the client to distribute news about products and other industry information on a weekly basis.

The new website not only elevates the experience users have with Read Naturally online but also equips the company to grow its footprint well into the future.
